We walked in a different part of the forest last weekend and I was very amused to spot some 'art' graffiti on some of the log piles.
The writing on the ends of these logs fascinates me, I can never decide whether I want to include it in my work in some way or not, but I do love trying to figure out what all the numbers and letters mean.
We also found some of the deepest and most enormous tyre tracks - they really show how wet the ground has been this winter as this is a fairly raised path!

It's always exciting to go to a different part of the forest and I particularly like checking in on this bit as it's the part near my parents house so I used to know it well. I have many memories of walking our family dog here as a teenager. The weird thing about a managed forest is that it changes so much so it feels familiar and yet I easily get lost at the same time.
